Kahless Timeline after reading Full Circle.

I just finished reading Full Circle and while I enjoyed it well enough, I got a little turned around in the jumping back and forth temporally.

Would someone be able to point me to a timeline of events involving Emperor Kahless in the Literature thus far.

I'm remembering The Left Hand of Destiny where he was portrayed as Merlin and trying to reconcile that with his portrayal in Full Circle.

Anything else like what he's up to around and through the events of Gorkon would also be appreciated.

After LHoD, Emperor Kahless became all to interesting for me not to remember this stuff.

Thanks.

Kahless's post-Dominion War appearances, in chronological order, include:

DS9: The Left Hand of Destiny Book 1 by J.G. Hertzler & Jeffrey Lang
DS9: The Left Hand of Destiny Book 2 by J.G. Hertzler & Jeffrey Lang
VOY: Spirit Walk: Old Wounds by Christie Golden
VOY: Spirit Walk: Enemy of My Enemy by Christie Golden
VOY: Full Circle by Kirsten Beyer
TNG: A Time for War, a Time for Peace by Keith R.A. DeCandido

The Kahless appearance in Full Circle can be tied into Kahless' appearances in the TNG A Time To.. series. I believe it was in A Time To Kill by David Mack, or A Time for War, a Time for Peace by KRAD, where they find out that he was replaced by a hologram. We never find out exactly where he got the emitter until Full Circle. I loved how Kirsten tied FC into the A Time To... series as 2378 was only seen in that series and in the first four books of Voy-relaunch. Hopefully if KRAD writes some new Klingon books, we can get some more Kahless :klingon:

Thank you both.

Just out of Curiosity, (as I haven't read the Voyager entry of Spirit Walk) is Kahless still being used as he was in LHoD? A Merlin type character (Who may or may not in fact be the actual Kahless reborn?) I really liked that particular characterization quirk of his Spirit being the same... Have any of the Elements of LHoD continuted on in other outings?, the secret order of Klingons on Boreth for example?

Intially when reading Full Circle, I thought the qaw'Haqhoch (sp) were a similar type of group, but obviously that wan't the case.

It's funny, Klingons, were never really my thing, in the Televison/Movie era, but after DI, Gorkon, & LHoD, I can't get enough of them, when done right.

Thanks again.

It's not exactly the same, but he is kind of a mentor/advisor figure for the stuff with the Klingons.

There is one slight contradiction between Full Circle and the earlier books.

Full Circle refers to the events of A Time for War, A Time for Peace (Kahless's disappearance, the attack on the Federation Embassy) as occurring in May 2379. But Articles of the Federation establishes that the first anniversary of Nanietta Bacco assuming office occurred in, IIRC, October of 2380. War/Peace established that only one month transpired between Zife's resignation and the special election, and Zife resigned only a few hours before the attack on the Embassy.

Therefore, War/Peace and Articles basically seem to establish that Zife's resignation and the Embassy attack happened in late August 2379 at the earliest, whilst Full Circle claims it's May.

But whatever. We can probably just write it off as relativistic time dilation if we're really upset by it. ;)
