justified anyone watching

I see that next week's episode is titled "Slaughterhouse," obviously for more reason than it happens at Limehouse's place.

Well, we know for sure that one bad guy is at the end of his run, but who else will get wiped out? Arlo? Duffy? Dickie (one can only hope)?

Duffy's pretty boring, so I could see him getting hurt, but I think he's too smart to get involved. Or maybe he thinks he needs to catch Quarles to save his standing with the Mafia?

Arlo, why not? He's always been an asshole and without his meds he's crazier than ever, he might do anything.

How about Ava? Boyd?
I hope the sheriff's on the list.

Me, too; the sheriff is a dick. But now that he's out of office, he's kind of pointless. I'm thinking Limehouse's right-hand man (no pun intended) may be in the line of fire as well.

Quarles is obviously dead, and Arlo is a strong possibility. Ava and Boyd should be safe, but Boyd's cousin (?) in the wheelchair better watch his back. Doesn't seem like it's Duffy's time to go. I hope Limehouse survives - he'd make a great ongoing recurring character.

Yes, he would. I like Limehouse, too; it would be nice if he could be brought back from time to time. Quarrels' number is definitely up, that's for certain, but I love how the psycho bastard just keeps getting away.

Well, the season finale finally aired. Honestly, I was hoping for a more action. Still-----------
ICK! I'm assuming that Quarrels died from his wounds, finally.

Oops. Fixed that.

Yeah, the Russian Roulette is always an effective tactic. I loved the reaction, too.

I have to admit to getting a little lost in the twists and turns of who did what to who. What did the fella that Limehouse sent packing (literally) do that PO'd Limehouse? I was kind of lost there.

Probably need to rewatch this season on Blu-ray in one setting so I can follow it a little better.

He tried a side deal on his own by ripping off Boyd's drug dealership thus brought heat on Limehouse's bank.

^Everyone was trying to screw over everyone, so yeah, it could be a bit hard to keep track of all the double-dealing.

That last line about "a cop in a hat" was just harsh. I actually felt kinda bad for Raylan there.

I'm sure that was the intended effect, only I guess I'd say "kinda bad?" That was a real kick in nads for Raylan, although he seems to be past caring about what Arlo does.

But yeah, that was harsh. Actually the whole final resolution was pretty much a big FU from Arlo to Raylan.

Not nearly as bloody as I expected! I want my money back. :p

I'm not assuming Quarles died from his injuries. If they wanted us to believe that, they needed to show him actually expiring.
As for the Russian Roulette scene, I assumed Raylan palmed the bullet rather than put it in the gun. Even he isn't that crazy (or is he?) :rommie:

The only bad thing about this episode was no cliff hanger like the last to seasons.
though quarells was surprised about being a suspect for shooting the trooper.

He lost a shitload of blood, I think he's dead. Although his wounds were probably survivable, so I suppose the writers could go either way next season if they want.

And as much as I like the character, I want to see Boyd die some time. Ava too, she's getting worse and worse.

Neal McDonough has a role on LA Noir so the producers are probably figuring he won't be available for future roles on Justified, but hey there's always the possibility of a guest shot. I think they just want to leave their options open since he's a terrific actor.

I don't think Boyd can be killed till the end of the series - in fact, they've barely scratched the surface of Raylan vs. Boyd. Ava's usefulness as a character hasn't yet been exhausted.

I'm pretty positive Quarrels is dead. His story is over. There's no where to go with the character now.

Hehe, Raylan "dis-armed" him. Though technically it was Limehouse that did the dis-arming.

ETA: "Oh shit! it's a piggy bank!" - lol.

Sure, and it also helps that Boyd is played by such a talented actor. He's been evolving throughout the series and he'll remain a challenge for Raylan until the end. Still, my primitive morality tells me I want to see Boyd get his fucking comeuppance (eventually). ;)

Ava's just turned into a full-on asshole though imo - a violent pimp and exploiter of people, hiding her rotten nature behind a pretty facade. And she doesn't even do the things she does for herself, but just for the sake of a man.

It was hilarious how Raylan held the dismembered arm away from Quarles with a sceptical look on his face though.
