they were both foreign terror attacks against the United States. Both were early in their Presidency.
While you can't compare the damage... they can be compared
Just like you can compare The Blitz with 9/11. They were both attacks from foreigners by air. You just can't draw that much from the comparison.

I don't know what expectations are for this man as commander in chief... On the one hand, the public opinion of our current President is horrible AND the new guy not almost killing himself with a pretzel would seem to be an improvement
On the other, I really do think some people expect this man to wave a magic wand and solve all our problems once and for all.

Fear has been both the media's and Dubya's best friend.
And the thing is, where there's a will, there's a way. If they REALLY want to pull off another terrorist attack, they will. And nothing we can do will stop them.
And there is simply no point in worrying about something we can't do anything about.
I'm truthfully more worried about the economy with the baby boomers moving into retirement than another terrorist attack. Talk about some grim prospects.
