I love Sarek. His character Rocks! He's my favorite recurring guest.
After 40 years, I'm still a huge fan of The Wild Wild West, but even I've got to concede that that's one thing Kirk can pull off that Jim West can't.RookieBatman said:

Plus IIRC, the debut of the patented Kirk Kung Fu Butt Chop (that poor Andorian never stood a chance).
Yep, this was definitely the one. Although, I thought it was kinda wierd how it just dropped right into the middle of that fight. I was watching it on the DVD, but I still wondered if a syndication cut had been slipped in.
And then Kirk jumped up, ricocheted off the wall, and gave that dude a piece of gluteus maximus. Amazing! No one else, not even James West, could've made that work.

she really smacked the living stuff out of him with that slap. If that was one of those "fako-angle-for-the-camera slaps... damn good job.

I recently read an interview with Booker Marshall, who played Dr M'Benga. Nimoy told him not to hold back on a slap in one of their "A Private Little War" scenes together - and Marshall accidentally went way harder than he intended. He was a bit surprised he was invited back for "That Which Survives".

Off-topic, but in defense of A Night in Sickbay, it was nominated for a Hugo award and had the most viewers of any second season episode.
And no, don't ask me why. I have no idea.
