^ Thats certainly possible, especially if the mission was long, or had the potential to result in crashed ships.
But wasn't there a ship in line ahead of them when they went to pick up the white? Mind you, naturally there was probably more than one ship running around with a Founder on it so that doesn't mean anything. But I figured that they'd be equally paranoid and might scan the ship... and see there were no Jem'Hadar... but impossible to say from what we're given.
Still, I find your idea that some ships could take on large amounts to be interesting... there is something in the back of my mind, just out of reach...
Speaking of this- given what were probably 100s of Jem'Hadar on "Terok Nor" does anyone else find it odd that Weyoun personally had to give the soldiers White? The time they needed it seemed to be staggered, but still, it seems very jerk-ish... not that I'm surprised.
I found a quote that I believe is from an interview Marco Palmieri did when the relaunch started... I think he did it for psiphi.org, which says in part:
"... Ketrecel white isn't really an addictive drug. It's the delivery system for a crucial enzyme the Jem'Hadar need to survive, deprivation of which has painful and lethal side effects. The Jem'Hadar are dependent on White, not addicted to to it. The distinction may seem subtle, but it isn't. (After all, humans are dependent upon air, but they're not addicted to it.) ... [7/5/00]"
