Assumption 1: Voyager, yes Voyager gets back to the AQ during SF's low pt. of the Dominion

Assumption 2: Sisko being on the front lines, would like to get his hands on the technology to turn the tide.

Assumption 3: Some of the weapons could be adapted to the Defiant perhaps another ship docked @ DS9 under Sisko's purview.

Question 1: Would Sisko go after the tech., perhaps w/some help from a Cardassian tailor?

Question 2: Would he try to use the tech even though SF might disapprove?

Question 3: Might the weapons/tech change the trajectory of the Dominion War.

We know that some of the tech was Borg-specific, but some of the things would be helpful...stealth, speed mods, even the Transphasic Torps might be modded for the Dominion shield.

Yes, maybe, no.

I think he would want to use the available Borg technology, though I doubt he would be alone among SF leadership. The experience with the disease that infected the founders suggests that there are some in SF, outside of Section 31, are either willing to cut corners or to a blind eye to those who do.

Would he steal the technology if he saw no other way of procuring it? Maybe, but only if he could kill Harry Kim in the process.

Would it change the course of the war? Not whatsoever. A repeated theme in the war was that quick fixes, be that strategic or technological, offered only a short term relief to the Federation-Klingon effort. It would still lead to a grand confrontation against the Dominion-Breen fleet and a negotiated settlement by Odo.

Depends if they get to keep the armor from Endgame.

Otherwise it would just be a small boon in the arms race.

Unless of course, they could send an unmanned shuttle at warp 10 to founder home world carrying a bomb. Starfleet wouldn't use it but they'd prove they can.
