Just finished watching DS9 series on Netflix

Long time Star Trek fan and still think the original series had so much to offer over the other series that followed.

Other then The Enterprise being the worse of the bunch I struggled through DS9 for years but recently decided to suck it up and watch it all. Can't stand the 'religious emissary' focul point or the stagnant aspect of being on a station instead of Trekking but it has had some surprising character shifts. Worf certainly progressed his character here and really enjoy Quark.

Ok here it goes. I think Benjamin Sisko is an underrated Captain and prefer him over the others...yes I said it. He's reactive, emotional ( gets pissed off) and has a real presents.

I am currently watching DS9 myself on Netflix - as I always shunned it for the rest... So far, despite the lulls with the Religion of Bajor - I find it fascinating... More than I thought it would be.

However, I personally think Enterprise was not that horrid of a show.. It had it's moments, as they all do.. But it was interesting nonetheless. It could have been better though - but it is better than nothing.

I cannot personally prefer one captain over the other - granted when I was first digesting Trek, I preferred Picard.. However, over time I have grown to love all of them.. They all have a distinct talent, personality and ability that is well tailored.. Sisko I think was over done in the first season - and progresses as the series goes on.

But - to make the statement that he is the most underrated Captains seems a bit harsh - I think Archer is the most Underrated... Personally..
