I was just wondering, In Caretaker, when they realise that voyager is stuck in the delta quadrant, why dont they do the old time travel trick that Kirk used in STIV, you know slingshotting off of the sun. I know there would have been no series but really it would have been so much easier than going all the way through the delta quadrent to get home.

They could have shot around a sun, but then they would just be stuck in the DQ in the past. They still would have had to travel 75000 light years to get home.
