Jurassic World III moves to 2022

I'll gladly see this franchise turn to fossils - it's done. Just like Terminator.
I do not understand your logic. Jurassic World was the #1 movie of 2015, beating both Avengers Age of Ultron and Star Wars The Force Awakens at the US box office. Fallen Kingdom (a movie I did not personally enjoy) was down a bit, but still made $1.3 billion and was still the #4 movie at the box office that year. What exactly is your criteria for "done?"

Jurassic World did not beat TFA at the US box office, in either opening weekend or total take.

But nitpicking aside, until we see another JPIII style bomb (and that wasn't really a bomb, just took a lot less than the rest) then this franchise remains a top tier one with only the likes of a very small handful of Marvel and SW films, and avatar taking more cash.

The terminator though, that most definitely IS done.

Absolutely correct, my apologies. I was just glancing at the 2015 chart on Box Office Mojo, which obviously didn't take into consideration its further box office in 2016.

Which means it will keep getting made.

I think the next movie is going to be a tricky sell given the premise of this franchise is arguably every bit as limited as the terminator, if not less so. I'm struggling to see where the story can go from here.

That being said I enjoyed JW, and I enjoyed fallen Kingdom a lot more than I expected to.

I think letting the dinos out at the end of Fallen Kingdom was the best decision they've made for franchise, it creates way more possibilities for future stories than there ever have been before.
I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked Fallen Kingdom.

I enjoyed Fallen Kingdom, I thought it had some great moments and some stunning visuals, but I'm struggling to see where the next one will go outside of humans v dinos battles with the army etc.

Not a huge surprise, given current circumstances, bearing in mind that a lot of 2020's blockbusters have been pushed back to 2021. No doubt that they'll be hoping things will be somewhat back to normal by 2022.

Never got around yet to seeing Fallen Kingdom, thought I remember Jurassic World being decent enough.

Are cinemas going to even still exist by then?

Things certainly aren't looking good for them right now. Problem for the studios is though is that they still don't think streaming at home/straight to disc is as profitable as a wide theatrical release so for now at least they still need the cinemas.

If they're lucky countries will have started getting vaccines out before next summer, eased restrictions and the cinemas will be able to run a blockbuster season close to normal.

There may not be as many of them, but I imagine they will exist. Hollywood will have to update their strategy accordingly. Ramp up infrastructure that will allow folks in less populated areas where theaters are more than 20 or 30 miles away the ability to access films via streaming.

We'll likely move towards more of a hybrid model.
