Jurassic World 2 (2018)

It's Jurassic park, they will need to add a black child that needs to be rescued to slightly increase minorities in the movie.

Also I'd jump on the dinosaurs (well monsters). Jurassic Word did have the baby dinosaur riding area.

Do you think Jurassic Park had dinosaur burgers? I wouldn't want to waste the meet when the dinosaurs died.

There are two things I'd like to see in the new movie, one being Site B where they could have prevented everything in Jurassic World by just making the new dinosaur there. Also the T-Rex is supposed to be in Fallen Kingdom, so why would they ever go back to the park?

Making dinos on site B and then having to transport them is the very first thing that got people killed in Jurassic Park history. (SHOOT HER!) It would've made the events of JW far more likely - which, really, professional zookeepers being tricked into thinking a multi-ton lizard with undersized arms *climbed* its way out of a multi-story enclosure was obviously just dumb.

For me personally, while I understand the desire to show an operational park, I think the Jurassic series ran out of things to do on islands and in parks even before Jurassic World, and that is a big part of why the JW story didn't work very well. If they absolutely must keep making more movies, then it's time for life to actually find a way out of captivity so dinosaurs can change the world and come to the people, for once, instead of inventing ever dumber reasons for people to come offer themselves up as dino snacks. Of course, with a title like Fallen Kingdom, that's almost certainly not going to happen.

That was on the first island. The dinosaur was just being moved into her cage. The dinosaurs will have to be moved around any island no matter what. Site B had nothing to do with it. Hell when the movie was made I don't think Site B was even a thing yet.

I'm hoping the 'Fallen Kingdom' is actually the human kingdom and we are finally reaching Planet of the Dinosaurs. The Planet of the Apes movies are so well done they should follow a similar path of human destruction.

Several years ago I would have lloved a Predator like movie set in Central America, I guess the scope the franchise has acquired by now won't allow for something so low key... I don't want a Planet of the Dinosaurs, lets be "real" here those things are tigers on steroids, at best, and look what we have done to tigers.

They could feed the actual dead dinosaurs to the meat eaters and carrion eaters. The dinosaur burgers would not contain any meat just meat byproducts and soy.

I think Jurassic World Park was built the same way Jurassic World the movie was paid for; sponsors and product placement.

Maybe not in the creators' minds, but it's not spelled out at all and in the later movies Hammond specifically said the dinos were bred on site b and transferred. He also said the on site lab was only for show to give the tourists a thrill. In either case, any kind of transfer whatsoever with the I Rex would be totally insane. Though, not as insane as creating an I Rex in the first place.

Fingers crossed.

It's not just the tigers on steroids that would take over the world. Invasive species are a huge issue in a lot of places, and there's probably any number of potentials in Jurassic Park. Compys, in particular, I could imagine becoming an absolute plague, especially in poor countries that don't have the money to combat them. Then there's the issue of escaped animals: you know after so many years of the technology being available, someone somewhere has started selling things as pets on the black market. And there's the animals that can avoid detection (super-camoflauge) who maybe wouldn't be hunted at all because people (ie, governments) refuse to admit they're there in the first place. And there could even be dinosaurs with legal protection as endangered species (maybe the newest hot-button political issue).

Yes, which Jurassic World seems to ignore Site B. But even if they were only bred on island, that doesn't matter because at some point the dinos would need to be moved into the showroom cage from where ever they were bred. So really the person in the beginning of Jurassic Park was going to be killed even if they weren't transporting them from Site B.

They are clearly going back to the island at some point in Fallen Kingdom and it really is to the point of just nuking the fucking island and calling it a day. I don't care, I'm not picky, I'll probably enjoy it anyways, but there is no reason I can't enjoy dinosaurs on the mainland. It's time to move the hell off the damn islands. Even I'm sick of lame excuses.

It already exists. There's a reason though it never became the classic that Apes is.

Great special effects ;)
For the time some of the effects are really good. Unfortunately nothing else is.
Exactly. The dinosaurs look great. It's the humans that are unconvincing.

Unless... what if we re-calibrate the sensors, expand the wave-shift, fizzle the charger, and zoom and enhance; we find... Great Scott!

#ItsAllConnected

I always have wondered what the first movie might have been like if Lucas, Speilberg and Ford and all teamed up for it, one more time - whether he played Indy, or just took on the main role for JP, wouldn't have mattered to me. I could totally picture Indy finding an Island lost in time, full of prehistoric life, however....

(EPK-style video here, if you're curious. Apparently a full preview is coming soon, but I don't watch previews, so...)

The first trailer comes out tomorrow. They've already released a couple of short teases for it.

They've also revealed some of the first plot details.
Bryce Dallas Howard's character has started a Dinosaur Protection Group, which goes back to the island to save the dinosaurs from an erupting volcano. She brings in Chris Pratt's character to help.

Well, the Zach King thing is more of just a goofy skit, so it barely counts.
