Does anyone know if a study has ever been conducted to explain why such "junk mail" is always posted in colossal point sizes, turning one's screen into a teleprompter? I mean, is there some spam factory somewhere cranking this out using a template? Every time I see that giant text, often in all caps (known as "shouting" in Internet parlance), I wearily sigh, "the following is funny to mouth-breathers."
