June/July Challenge: "Awkward Situations"

Okay, it's time for a new challenge, so here it is . . .
Create a story with an awkward situation. It might be humorous, it might be tense, it might be embarrassing . . . use your imagination!
Examples: "Picard Day" on the Enterprise, Worf attempting social pleasantries, Spock's moment of joy when he finds out Kirk isn't dead, etc.
Givens and druthers:

• Star Trek related, from any era.
• Canon or your own characters.
• No word limit, but novels may be a bit much. Shorter is usually better for these challenges.
• Have fun and good luck!
