June challenge: A Dirty word

well the point is that the prime directive is kinda screwed anyway, if primitive people encounter Dominion forces then their development is altered anyway. In several episodes it's stated the PD doesn't neccesarrily apply once a primitive society is already aware of modern technology etc.

Valid point, I didn't think of that.
 
I believe it is still a violation of the Prime Directive because the Federation is not suppose to give less advanced people access to Fed technology period.

But I liked that this story is in defiance of that. The Federation is struggling for its survival and might have decided to compromise on some of its rules. That, to me, is fascinating stuff.
