My vote went to Mistral's "The Cultural Anthropologist's Tale." If I had a second vote it would have gone to Camelopard's "The Combadge."

I really had a tough time between Sniper and the Combadge. Both were intense. I finally gave Camelopard the vote because his was, I felt, a more vivid interpretation of the theme-sorry, captcalhoun, I'm afraid I don't know Bond well enough.

I went with Cemlopard as well. The interogation scenes are still in my mind. The others were quite good as well, in fact I think this was one of the better months, so...good job by all!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and predict that you're going to win.

I voted early--but I wasn't the first to vote for your story. Unless CeJay refrained from voting, I think it's likely that he voted for you.

I've felt for a long time that the challenger's vote should be decisive in case of a tie. They're the ones who have to come up with the challenge and set up the poll. Winning a challenge should have a few perks.

Although if Mistral wants to have it out with lirpas, I'm game.
