News Jumper TV Series In the Works

Jamie Bell and Julian Simpson (Doctor Who) are helping to develop a TV reboot of the successful 2008 feature film Jumper for Studio Canal, New Regency and Lionsgate. Bell may be reprising his role from the film for the series which is in development through the multi-faceted TV production and distribution deal between Lionsgate and New Regency.

I wonder if Bell reprises his role will this be a sequel to the movie or will it be just another version of it. I've never seen the movie but I've not heard good things about it.

The film was an interesting premise, like Jeannie for I Dream Of Jeannie, the Jumper can teleport. I liked the film. As the beginning of the film was with high school student Jumper Max Theriot, like Spider-man:Homecoming, Jumper television series should have the character be high school student IMHO.
