Ok, so I'm a long time art challenge lurker. I love some of the things you guys come up with, but not having much in the way of art skills I've never entered. But this months challenge actually gave me an idea that even I could possibly work with, so here it is:

It really is very simple. I threw it together in MSPaint. I will possibly work on it a bit if i can find time from working on my fiction projects. But who knows.

It's just a matter of perception. Rotate it so that it's "sideways" and you won't have a problem.

Well, I was thinking of changing it anyway actually, making it look a little more "Explodey." Like some that I vaguely recall seeing that have longer rays, more points, and usually a circle in the middle. But since most of my focus is towards a novel I'm trying to write, and the fact that I don't stand a snowballs chance in the sahara against some of the people that usually enter these, I'm just not sure how much I'll actually work on it.

One thing I would change is the person. Make him a red shirt and the graphic seems more fitting.
