Here's my entry for this months challenge.
It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do, but I've wanted to use this image of Kirk in something for a long while (don't ask) so I finally got to. While a back cover was not a requirement of the challenge, the completist in me had to have one.
So in case you're wondering who The Phasers are:
This is the album cover for The Phasers, a band made up of former Enterprise personel Paul Freeman, Barry Giotto and Davey Garrovick, all of whom used "Phaser" as their last names ala' The Ramones. Their music style was a mix of hard core punk and thrash metal, with songs generally about what they felt were an increasing militarization of Starfleet, and deteriorating attitudes towards the Federation from just about everyone except the First Federation. This was their second album. Like all of their albums, they had CD versions for those who thought that ancient format had a "warmer" sound than current duotronic based sound systems. Also they were collectors items until the Federation did away with money.
