Joss Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D to ABC!

Excellent

and

Excellent-I want Hulk on the big screen. You just can't repeat him cost effectively on TV I'd think.
When he says exploring their catalog I'd like to plug Moon Knight. Seems a much easier fit and it would be a chance to bring their "Batman" to life.

The pilot is supposed to be filming right now in fact, and that ABC Execs are "hopeful" that it'll get picked up. Also Joss is supposed to be writing more scripts for the series as well, before writing "Avengers 2". He's already finished the treatment for the sequel.

Yeah I would prefer a Hulk movie or sequel rather than the TV series, but we'll have to continue to wait and see on that.

Honestly, if they were to do a live action superhero show, I think I'd rather see them go for someone hasn't been done a million times already, like Daredevil or Luke Cage.

Superhero spin-offs on television are fine, but they need to be low level. A Hulk TV series simply would not work (Lou Ferrigno just doesn't cut it), but a Punisher series? Now that has potential and would work with a smaller TV-sized budget.

That is really the only logical direction they could go, IMO.

Not necessarily. As I've said before, it's not impossible for someone to survive the kind of impalement injury Coulson received in the film, if they get medical treatment quickly enough. And we never actually saw the medics call his death -- we just heard Fury tell the others that they'd called it, and we know he wasn't above lying to manipulate their emotions.

True, an injury that serious would take months to recover from and would probably leave a person permanently impaired in some ways, but maybe Coulson could have been healed by some kind of bionic grafts or a variant of the supersoldier formula. So there are other possible ways they could go besides revealing that the "dead" Coulson was an LMD.
