Josepha Sherman has passed away

I met her briefly at Dragon*Con in 2004 or 2005. I went to an author book signing and took one of her lesser known books, The Secret of the Unicorn Queen: Swept Away. We had a pleasant chat about the fact that the first two books in the sextet had been reprinted as a single volume and our hope that the rest of the series would follow, as the originals are hard to find. She was gracious and kind, and seemed to appreciate my interest. I'm saddened to learn of her death. :(

My condolences to her family and friends. "Vulcan's Heart" was one of the few Trek novels that I've recommended to non-Trekkers/Trekkies.

^ It is my favorite Trek novel of all time. I would totally love to see more of Charvanek (the Romulan Commander from "Enterprise Incident" - it is really cool how Josepha and Susan gave her such a wicked sense of humor) and Ruanek, who is one of my favorite Trek characters ever. :techman:

RIP Josepha.

Isn't Charvanek in the Vulcan's Soul books somewhere? I haven't read them yet, but I could have sworn I saw her name somewhere on one of the pages for the VS books.

R.I.P. Josepha's passing away was really sad. . I really liked Vulcan's forge and the Vulcan other novels she wrote with Susan Schwartz.

Deepest condolences to Josepha Sherman's family and to her friends. She leaves a tremendous legacy of writings. RIP
