If we want this movie to be successful so we can get more movies and another series we fans need to make sure that the movie is able to pull in casual fans and I just thought of a strategy that just might work.

The plan is we hire both female and male hookers who are good looking to stand in lines at the movie. This way when casual fans look at the line they will see it's not just nerds who going to the movie. This will allow then to feel more comfortable in seeing the movie. The hookers of course won't watch the movie. The will go inside and circle around and stand in the next line for the next showing.

If we can raise enough money we might even go the extra length of hiring ugly hookers to stand in line for movies that will be Trek's main competion.

Anyways if intrested just vote yes on the petition and I will inform you were you can send money to the hooker fund.

I guess this is a joke. But you know what, I will actually answer to your question. :p No, I don't think it would be a great idea at all. I don't know about other people, but I would NEVER watch a movie just because there are beautiful girls waiting in line before the movie theatre.

What's the going rate for hookers these days?

Can't we just get some hot chicks?

Brilliant idea. And if any part of this movie turns out to be as sophorific on opening night viewing as the flying-over-V'Ger sequence of TMP was, maybe for a couple bucks more I can get a quick blow-job to keep awake.

I say we lobby for hookers to be cast in the movie. You know. Space hookers. For those Space Booty Calls that OBVIOUSLY GO ON, DAMMIT!

Well, I'll say this for your plan, Jayson - whatever attention it generates can be no more bizarre and humiliating than the display of over-the-top geektittude witnessed by Triumph the Insult Comic Dog when he went to observe the festivities at the opening of Attack of the Clones.

Is that the one where they bring out a guy dressed as Spock at the end giving everyone the finger?
