Actually the "mystery" of what exactly happened on Peter and Mary Jane's wedding day has been the subject among fans of "Brand New Day" so I'm kind of intrigued to see what happened. Peter wearing the Black Costume tuxedo is interesting he was still wearing the black costume when he and MJ got married of course but I remember the Red and Blue classic on the cover.

Did Queseda actually write this comic? he's talking as if he did. The guy isn't a good writer. In fact, he's the poster-child for "editors thinking they are writers but actually suck at it".

I don't quite know where - but I saw an OMIT cover page showing (I kid you not) Black Cat marrying MJ Watson and Peter looking on from the sidelines.

Hmm - think that was from scans_daily perhaps. Found it.

Seems to be fan art and not a true Marvel cover. But I wouldn't mind being a spider on the wall in that bridal suite!! Hubba hubba!

^Yeah, I saw that. It's a gag cover from a series of "might-have-beens." They show up from time to time on ComicsAlliance.com. It had nothing to do with "OMIT," since it came out before that acronym/title was released, but whoever posted it on that page chose to link it to that news as a gag.

One More Insidious Tale

After 20+ years of reading Amazing Spider-man, I never thought I'd see the day when big Spidey news didn't interest me in the slightest.


I can feel the headache from the retconning/alternate versions of various events already...
