I liked Joe Menosky's work over the years. I was very happy to see his inclusion on the writing team, and look forward to seeing what he's mustered.

I didn't know but that's super cool. There's a lot of awesome episodes in that list above. And 'Distant Origin' is one of my favorite Star Trek episodes across all series, AND a rare great Chakotay episode.

Not keen on Time's Orphan or The Gift, but the rest are pretty solid. Strangely enough, his Wikipedia entry doesn't mention Time's Orphan... but it does mention Rivals, which is amongst my favourite early DS9 episodes.

Wow interesting. Nth Degree sucked. Everything else from TNG is very good to excellent. His one DS9 credit was very good.

I didn't watch much VOY, but Equinox and Year of Hell were good.

Should be interesting tonight to say the least.

One story I heard about Menosky. He took a year off from TNG staff to travel and recharge his batteries, but still contributed as a freelance writer. When they received his script for "Masks" the reaction was "what was he smoking when writing this?". A truly bizarre episode, but I liked it.
