Do not make demands, ask questions (bring a pad with your questions written down), do a bit of research on the company even if it's just a retail rathole... and above all RELAX. You might get the job you might not... even if you do everything right.
Also do not attempt to steer the interview, if they decide to offer you X position instead of Y position simply decline the offer if it's not what you wanted. That can have a far more positive effect than "But I thought I was interviewing for Y position!"
Example: I interviewed recently for a part-time floor supervisor position at a print shop... I need a few extra $$$ because Job Is Job is salary... I can do everything in six hours go home and get paid for a full day. No more overtime.
While ultimately I am happy with my position here it's Car Is Dying Time and I need to bank cash as rapidly as possible so I can get a replacement.
Anyway, I interviewed for that supervisor position and as the interview went on I noticed they were asking more and more technical questions and less supervisory-related questions. We got to the conclusion interview and I said "my guess is you are considering me for a production technician placement, not the supervisor job" and she said yes.
Got the job. 20 hours a week.
