JJ Cale (1938 - 2013)

Just saw this on the news, he had a heart attack and passed away at La Jolla.

Wrote some great songs, like 'Cocaine' and 'After Midnight', performed by Clapton, and 'Cajun Moon'.

One of my favourite songs, especially through '72 and '73, was 'Crazy Mama', loved its cruisy, laid back feel and slide guitar, and the lazy "one, two, three, four" that opens it.

Big talent, he'll be missed.
