This has been the biggest criticism the season has gotten that I've read around the Internet and one I agree with to an extent. Several villains are presented throughout the season with varying degrees of success and none of them have come close to the gravitas and danger of Kilgrave. However, at the same time, David Tennant and the writers set a very high bar, one that even the films are compared to, so I don't think it's entirely fair to judge the second so harshly in that regard....and I really miss the dark edge that David Tennant's Kilgrave brought to the show.
To be clear, I'm not suggesting that you are, rather I'm addressing a larger point that I've seen come up a lot and I expect will come up in this thread.
Ah, I didn't know that. Which heroes are they usually associated with? They're not in Alias or The Pulse (the first two Jessica Jones titles and the only ones I've read of hers).Comic nerd alert-- both the Whizzer and Dr. Karl Mallus are from the comics.
