Jericho - From the ashes?

Well, spank me rosey. I can actually see this pulling through too since CBS/ Paramount (the studio, not the channel) still sees Jericho as a money-making asset that they are willing to sell. I an particularly interested in this little bit here:

attempting to retain the program.

If this happens though, I can just imagine the people on top of CBS (channel) being pissed. Not only have they killed it twice, but it has been ressurected and returned to them. Twice.

Jericho should be revived. Everytime they get a good storyline going they get kicked in the balls by the network.

In fairness to the network, the ratings have been terrible (for CBS).

What happened to the reruns on Sci-Fi? I was watching the show for the first time and I was getting into it. But, they suddenly stopped showing it. Does it have to do with all this cancellation stuff?

^They're treating them like they treat their regular shows: Show half, put it on an extended break, and they will show what's left of season one with season two later.

It got a satisfying conclusion this time.

It was an interesting ending that I agree does also serve as somewhat of a conclusion if we see nothing else; but I have to admit, the prospect of seeing a second U.S. civil war in modern times would be something interesting to watch play out with what they set up. So, if they get another season, great, I'll tune in. If not, oh well, it was a decent ride overall to the point they took it to.

Anyway, I do hope they find some way of bringing Jericho back. I'd love to see the second American Civil War. That would rock!

My preference would be the Scifi Channel as I'm not a Comcast customer - I'm a DirecTV kind of gal. But anyway they can bring it back, I'm game.

By the way, does anyone know if they plan to put out this short season 2 on DVD anytime soon?

^Well, it would still be on CBS anyways, so it all works.
Season 2 is coming out June 17th. I won't lie... looking at the list of special features, I'm kinda disappointed. The specials are almost non-existant.

Well, this certainly eases my mind after a horrible dream I had the other night where CBS unexpectedly played a new two-part episode, wherein the end of the first episode had Ma Green shooting Jake in the heart.

Please don't ask me why I dreamed something like that. I woke up confused as hell.
