Jenny?

Jenny showing up would be an interesting considering how close Georgia is in age to Matt Smith. I would would love to see uh...the new redhead's reactor after the Doctors says that she's his daughter.

John Nathan-Turner was "Doctor Who"'s showrunner during seasons 18-26, IIRC. He's largely responsible for turning the show into turgid fanwank.
While this is true to a large degree, he's also responsible for keeping the show going--most often on a shoestring budget--in the face of monumental apathy on the part of the BBC.
Excellent point. Yes, JNT had his flaws and they were many, but he also kept the show going, and if he had left the series and moved on to something else, as he genuinely wanted, Doctor Who would have ended sooner than it did.

And we wouldn't have gotten such wonderful stories as Warrior's Gate, Logopolis, Castrovalva, Black Orchid, Earthshock, Mawdryn Undead, Enlightenment, The Caves of Androzani, Vengeance on Varos, Remembrance of the Daleks, Battlefield, and The Curse of Fenric (among others, of course).

No, we'd have gotten most of your list. It wasn't until about the time of the cancellation crisis that JNT wanted to move on. Of your list, had JNT left, we wouldn't have had the final three.

The cancellation of season 23 showed JNT that the writing was on the wall for Doctor Who. If he could have left, he would have, but he also knew that if he left, the show was done. So he didn't leave, and he began saying things like "I have been pursuaded to stay."

Quite true. I forgot all about that. I guess sea sickness cluttered my head.

As Eddie Izzard says, "This is all true." I mean, I'm well aware of JNT's faults (as with every Doctor Who producer who isn't called Philip Hinchcliffe :p), but there's no denying the man loved the show and gave it his all, in the process producing some damned fine stories (he also produced some utter drek, but nobody's perfect--even my hero Hinchcliffe produced The Android Invasion).
