Scanning, I haven't seen any references to last week's proceedings, but if this has been stated elsewhere, my apologies. Short and sweet, disposition of all charges continued, yet again, (kudos to her public defender I suppose) for the umpteenth time (more time for treatment). Next scheduled date for the lot of them, now Nov. 28.

I haven't found any news on this either.

I wish her all luck and that she can get her life back in order again.

Jennifer Lien needs every advantage, but one thing's clear from the threads about her I've seen posted: She has a lot of Fan Support. Thanks for the update and keep us posted on her progress, sir.

So far ... so good!

I'm not trying to be funny but it's a shame she needs so much help because it might have been interesting to see her act on Orange is the New Black. And see her amazing range once again.

I would love to see her in some YV or movie role again.
But not in "Orange Is The New Black". Prison series are boring and I have never understoood the purpose of them.

I believe the purpose in Kohan's case was to start conversation. Specifically about prison overcrowding.

"Orange" couldn't be further away from boring. Kate Mulgrew's character is basically the queen of the prison.

I thought I was the only one. I tried to watch it and whatever it is that inspires me to keep watching a show just wasn't there.

I would hate to see her on that show. I love it and that would ruin it for me

Why?

Despite the fact that I'm not too fond of the character Seven Of Nine, I loved to see Jeri Ryan in Boston Public and especially in my current favorite series NCIS. :techman:

I'm just not a fan of her. I've seen her in other things and I don't care for her. Personally I find her voice irritating, among other things

There are actors I don't care much about either. But if they show up in a series I like or in a good movie and make a good job, then I'm not complaining.

In term of acting, "Warlord" was pretty interesting to gauge Jennifer Lien. Until this episode from s3, Lien's Kes was limited to play a generous, kind and compassionate Ocampa who became quickly the favorite of the Doctor and the crew's favourite medical assistant and the actress was good at this and it was almost natural for her. But let's be honest, the role was quite passive

In "Warlord", the actress had for once, a more active part, in every meanings (more expressive, more physical, more emotional) and again, Lien did a fine job.
I'm pretty sure that if her character had been more developped and above all, earlier, it would have been clear to anyone that her presence was necessary, even under a hologram figure.

Anyway, even if I adopted Ryan's Seven quickly - much more I though -, I trully regretted Jennifer Lien's absence, whose the character was like "the good friend" that we hope to keep close and whose the presence keep you quiet.
I liked Jennifer Lien her and once her medical problems over, I hope she will come back on our screens.

For me, "Fury", was rather a Picardo's episode, for me.

I like WARLORD but I can't say it's my favourite Kes episode. Kes to me is the innocent DQ pixie, yet very determined with a big heart who has a warmth and gentleness to her presence that no one else on VOY has (let alone other shows).
My favourite episode with her is BEFORE AND AFTER. This is the Kes I'd love to see more often (with the short hair, though) and with YEAR OF HELL she had the chance to continue shining but TPTB decided not to give it to her.

And in contrast to basically everyone else, I'm not really interested in actors' lives and definitely not in the same actors in other shows. But if anyone ever hears about a show that is at least vaguely similar to Star Trek Voyager, please let me know (and don't even think of the horrible StarGate Universe because I think it's basically anti-Voyager).

With that being said, I'd like to wish Jennifer Lien all the best - whatever seems to be the problem.

I thought Warlord was a bad episode for her. To me it showed how bad her acting really was. It always seemed like she was struggling to express that extra emotion and it came off as silly to me at times and just felt like too much of stretch for her.

While I liked Warlord, I thought her best acting came in Before and After.
