The fact someone who appeared to have everything going for her had her life turn out like this is truly sad and eye opening. I'm not religious but the phrase "there but for the grace of God go I" springs to mind.

It's a pretty benign offense. I once got a ticket for driving on expired plates. In fact, I wonder why she was even arrested. My wife had her license suspended for an unpaid ticket, and she was driving home from work, got pulled over, and the cop gave her a warning, saying "get this taken care of before you do any more driving" and let her drive home.

You and your wife were probably polite and she likely had an attitude. Watching those shows that follow real cops is fairly eye opening as far as how the driver's attitude impacts the outcome of the stop.

Again? ho boy.. Wish her the best and hope she can get her life back on track.. She was a beutiful woman with one of the most sexiest voices I've heard ( When she voiced Agent.. M.. K.. whatever in the MIB Cartoon.. it was like Ear candy when she was on)

I think she may be.......hence the "revoked" bit. I think she was arrested at least twice within a week last year for the same thing. I really hope she can get herself together.

EDIT: Verified from March 2018:

The woman who played Kes on "Star Trek: Voyager" has come crashing back down to Earth, courtesy of cops in Tennessee ... who keep busting her for driving when she shouldn't be.

Law enforcement tells us Jennifer Lien was arrested March 2 for driving on a revoked license, which should have sounded very familiar to her. Cops hauled her in for the same exact thing earlier that week on Feb. 27!

We're told Lien was pulled over, for the 2nd time, because she was driving with no visible tags. Officers broke out the cuffs again when they discovered her license was revoked for a previous DUI.

Lien is working on quite the rap sheet near her Tennessee home. She was also charged in 2015 for exposing herself to children under the age of 13 -- although it was later dismissed when she paid restitution.

ok, so the arrest was because the license was revoked specifically due to an owi/dui. I guess that makes sense.

Just as the dispositions of the charges in Roane County progressed, that is, very slowly, so it is, for these, less than egregious counts. Specifically, the court date, has been rescheduled for the 3rd or 4th time, set back now, until the end of the first week of May. I suspect that the same scenario's in play, that is, considerable time being spent under enforced psychiatric treatment. At least, Ms. Lien has not been kept in the county cooler.
