I hope all of you managed a good start into the new year. @ColdFusion180 asked me to create the thread with his challenge.

The writing challenge theme is: Pets. Any Star Trek series, era, canon, non-canon, ships, crews or characters welcome.

I'll set the preliminary deadline on February 28. But since we got off to a late start and February is such a short month I'd be open to have it run a week longer if people need that time to finish their fics.
