January Challenge WiP: Villains & Antagonists...

Atolm

Here is a race I created called the K'Riee'G. They are a species from outside of our Galaxy, and were hurled from their Home Galaxy into ours accidently via an unknown extra-galactic phenomenon during our 22nd century. Once here, they have used their time wisely by establishing a government by colonizing, and conquering planets inside the galactic core, straddling the Gamma and Delta Quadrants. Now in the 24th century, the K'Riee'G have come out of their isolation and decided to expand outward...
The K'Riee'G could best be described as heads and legs, meaning they exhibit an enormous humanoid head perched atop of 18 long, and thin arthropodal legs. They stand on average at 2.6m tall, and weigh about 260lbs. They have also brought with them another organism from their galaxy of origin, what they designate as a "probe". This probe is a 60cm radial starfish-like creature that the K'Riee'G use as a from of dominating other races, attaching them to the body of those races. Once attached, the probe injects the host with microscopic tendrils that attach to the host's nervous system, thus rendering them susceptible to the will of the K'Riee'G.

Here are the K'Riee'G, Probe, Insignia, and Dathoreim-class Starship:

I dunno if I'll have time to do too much more on these guys for a true entry, but here is what I have thus far.

I always love homages (even if not intended) to HG Wells' cephalopod Martians! ("War of the Worlds" was the first science fiction novel I read outside of Trek stuff (The Alan Dean Foster adaptations) as a kid and left a lifelong impact.)

Evil! where's my plate armor?!:cardie:
lol
I can see faded grey-white colorations, with milky looks for the dome-sphere...
I was thinking red. A red-skinned race, and a red-hulled ship.

Wells is always epic bro, and I am with you all the way on that! With these guys, I really wanted to go back to a more Pulp-like sci-fi alien, but also including Roddenberry's penchant for wanting to see an actor's face within the make-up. The ship on the other hand, is all Atolm.
