January Art Challenge - Multiverse Madness!

Greetings!

For this months art challenge, a mysterious rift has opened in the heart of the federation, and ships from a thousand realities are pouring through!

Your mission is to analyze these designs and evaluate their effectiveness in relation to our technology. After all, if it works for them, it might work for us!

Ahem, with the geekyness gone, the challenge this month is to take spacecraft from any other franchise, and turn them into the federation's finest.

For this challenge, you can choose any era you see fit, and either stay true to the original design, or "loosen it up" a bit to make it fit into Trek lore. As long as someone can say "yup, thats the millenium falcon" your ok.

As a quick example, i've drawn up what I think said Millenium Falcon would look like had it been created in the trek universe.

I hope that's clear enough.

As always, the competition closes on the 31st at midnight, and I hope to see every one of you throw your hats into the ring.

I dunno, I think some designs could work out quite well. BTW, I think I should clarify - scale is not important. You can take an X-Wing and make it a battleship if you want. Im not sure if you can tell or not, but in my Falcon examples I made the turret the bridge dome.

What do you mean? Is it the shape of another ship with federation detailing? If so, then by all means go ahead. If its a fed ship with say Star Wars detailing, im afraid not. That's another contest

I've actually got an idea for this, but not knowing how to actually use any of these programs and not having access to a scanner... well... I'll just look forward to what you guys come up with.

no its fed ship but its in the style of a certain anime battleship...

I just gotta say, I think i've seen more Art challenge threads pop up recently than there have been in a while, and I think they all have something going for them.
