Janice Rand Novels???

The Internet Movie Database is your friend. And in Rush's defence, she hasn't really done anything of note since Spin City.

OH --THAT Heather Locklear! Now I remember! I think I remember her on E.T. some time back....

Thank's mate!:techman:

And yes... I could see her as Rand. The eye-color's a little off, but nothing contacts can't fix!

And...can she do Rand's voice? Grace has a slight southern accent, I recall, not overt, but still present. Midwestern, I think. Heather's from Calli. Can she pull it off?

If so, she looks like she'd be a great Rand, TOS-era. But then, I have yet to see her in the 'do....

Having lived in both California and the Midwest, I can tell you that "pulling off" either "accent" is no major vocal feat. ;)

Hey, I'm a liberal. Consenting adults and all that. I'm just saying there are some fetishes you may not wish to advertise. :alienblush::p

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

All I can say is "Don't knock it til you try it." It can be a beautiful thing between two people.

Hope not. Listening to a clip of her from Spin City, I could hear a good resemblance to GLW's voice, sans the midwest accent. If she could do it, we just may have a new Rand, for JJ's next movie.

(Or perhaps, the movie version of my book!)

BUT... can she grow the hair for the 'do???:D

(On a side note... Heather looks far too young to be Commander Rand. Yeoman Rand, possibly. Transporter Chief Rand, maybe. But not Commander Rand. Sorry, cbp.)

According to GLW, the TOS Rand "do" was a wig which was "nailed" to her head every morning. After she left TOS, someone souvenired it from the Desilu lot and it's never been seen again

Granted. However, Grace also noted that it kept falling off whenever she whirled around too fast!:p

Also, it would be nice to have the actress grow her hair the desired length, and arrange it thus.

--Imagine combing THAT puppy! Ah, fair Rapunzel....

Enjoy torture, eh?

As Al says in Dark Knight, "Oh, you have no idea."

Besides, it's either the torture of hour-long hair-styling (which many Trek actors have to suffer anyway, usually due to alien makeup)... or the torture of having to do the same take over and over just because the darn thing won't stay on....

Not to mention the need to nail it on. Now that's torture!
