And boy do I regret my abstinence. Between the disappointment of Caprica and the utter SILENCE on this very important matter my evening has SUCKED. And yet my vigil must continue because it would be a very weak vigil if I went to bed before suffering sufficiently.

And now I must put on the kettle.

And don't anyone say anything about Caprica because I'm not done with it.

Some guy on the Amazon COS discussion thread (where lots of people commented @ wanting KJ back) posted this morning that KJ fans would be happy w/ TET, so we should buy the book, (but he didn't want to spoil it), then he turned up on the Facebook Bring Back KJ group as a new member and said the same thing. So we asked him if KJ was a live human at the end of the book and he said (see below):

"Yes she is." but since he's a new member from this morning, not sure whether to believe him, ack, I'm going out today again to look for my own copy, (but FYI).

"My" amazon says the book isn't even being released until 8/28.

In the BBS Trek lit section for the last two recent Trek books that were supposed to come out on a Tuesday, people reported that they were in bookstores (ie Barnes&Noble) as early as the Wednesday night before the Tuesday they were due out. And also on the site Trekmovie.com the reviewer of Raise the Dawn said he got his copy at B&N the Friday before its due out date. Another guy on our FB group also said his copy at B&N in NY is waiting for him (that was this AM, so we're waiting...). I'm going to try again in Chicago today, there are 2 B&Ns I can go to & also another bookstore. PS the new guy at BBKJ claimed he got TET at his local B&N in Los Angeles, more later....

I totally agree, but then there are a couple of people that I do know and I wouldn't trust them either. I would trust GS, she has been a long time friend and a great beta reader.

I would also like to take this moment to warmly cheer all the J/C crowd who, judging by what we read in the photographic evidence, have finally got their day in the sun. ENJOY PEOPLE!! And if anyone can write a believable relationship in Treklit it's Kirsten Beyer. I'm happy for you and I'm happy for Janeway too.
