Janeway, Lesbian Icon?

I don't care if she is lesbian, gay or whatever she wants... i only know that i really like her... and i wish every woman had something of her behaviour and strength.
And something else, i don't know if someone else said it too..
JANICE: Your world of starship captains doesn't admit women. It isn't fair.
KIRK: No, it isn't. And you punished and tortured me because of it.
i remeber it... i didn't like it because star trek was about a future society where unequalites are totally eliminetad. This episode was against every social message tos gave. But 150 years ago, there were female captains! star trek enterprise.. who knows..

I always mention that.

But what I extrapolate from "that" is fricking Hilarious.

What the frakk did Captain Erika Hernandez of the Columbia (season 4 Enterprise, second ship in the NX production line.) do, that was so bad that her entire gender was disqualified from captaining Starships for the next 200 years after her tour of duty?

Could Hernandez really have really fallen in love with some musky Klingon and switched sides during the course of some Human Klingon Conflict handing over (half the Fleet?!) the only other warp 5 capable star ship to get a some? To get some good? I assure you, god made them ridged for her pleasure, and maybe that's why the Klingons killed heir gods because of how difficult it is to jerk off with batmobile armour on your penis?

It's really just a question of after she handed over the keys to this lover of hers, if he ate her after he killed the lady for being so stupid. His crew would have dined on human for a month! Those poor humans wouldn't have understood yet that Klingons eat their supper live. Imagine waiting in kennels while your friends are being eaten one by one by a species that has never invented deodorant while they stuff you with Ghak for additional flavour.

Unless sweet and innocent Erika married that Klingon Captain because he was sincerly in love with her too... and then she helped him eat her crew?

(Think of all the battles Kirk (Spock a couple times, McCoy once.) won by seducing the Alien Captain's girlfriend? Why wouldn't it work around the other way once or twice unless Humans are sooooooooooo much smarter and in charge of their loins and emotions than every other single alien species ever encountered in TOS.)

Well for one thing, as we learned in the the Destiny trilogy, she managed to crash the Columbia in the Gamma Quadrant

Into the Whole Gamma Quadrant?

My, what a ding that would have been.

(I haven't read any star trek novels in years.)

No, it was their attempt to set up Icheb and Seven.

That kid loved her so much (A boy of any age is allowed to hit on a hot older woman. Nothing creepy. it's the older womans job as the ADULT to put him in his place or be creepy. Though was Icheb at least 16 in season 6? later he certainly thought age wasn't in the way of B'Elanna "winning" him in some klingon romance brawl if he had to fight Tubby Tom to the death for the right to make babies with the Chief Engineer.) he ripped out part of his brain and gave it to her.

(Van Gough anyone?)

Though the reset button kicked in and that 'ship was never mentioned again, however it is possible that since he no longer had a cortical implant RETARDING his emotional development and inflection, he began to realize what the tiny thimbleful of affection it was that he had felt or Seven of Nine compared what his brain, heart and hormones were capable of now, that his capacity for LUST had been shifted from park into 5th gear, had redetermined his options and positions within Voyager's dating scene/pool and the little Borgling had decided on less logical and pragmatic selections of the fe/male compliment to focus on.

I think that Icheb & Seven are more mother and son that what you say they are. I also think that Icheb has something for Naomi Wildman (as shown in an episode set in the future) and if Voyager had continued, we would have seen then get together somewhat.

A weirdo wrote a weird episode where Icheb was acting out of character and the concept was never readdressed. Of course, if his "supposed" love for Seven WAS readdressed later then it just would have been the lad discovering new aspects his burgeoning character.

(Mother and Son? I've been hot for most of my dad's girlfriends who were not my mother since I was four years old.)

Naomi was born in season 2. That makes her almost 5 years old in season 7 even though she looks like a 10 year old, but Icheb looked 16 even if Borg technology from that maturation chamber had accelerated his ageing that he might even have had the mind of a ten year old (Substituting the needs and lusts of a ten year old (I remember them well.) for another ten year olds) stuck inside the body of a 16 year old...

Age difference when you're that young is really creepy.

Harry Kim married a one year old woman he had changed the diapers for and wet-nursed... Though there's some symmetry there since Harry could be changing Glynnis's diapers all over again by her ninth birthday if they stayed together that long.

How different is that from contemplating Naomi and Icheb before their emotional maturity syncs up some where near season 12?
