Jan-Michael Vincent of Airwolf died of cardiac arrest on February 10th. He was 74.

I never watched Airwolf. I remember him from the original version of The Mechanic with Charles Bronson, where he was outstanding, as well as handsome AF*. * - I'm not gay, so that probably means he was really handsome.

Also from Damnation Alley, riding his motorcycle through the giant scorpions, etc. :lol:

Drug abuse sucks.
 
As a very young boy, I first saw him on his humble acting beginnings in the Danger Island series in reruns long before Damnation Alley or Airwolf.

I really ought to check out some of JMV's 1970s work. Apart from Airwolf, I'm most familiar with his performance as Byron Henry in the 1983 miniseries The Winds of War, and he really gives an awesome performance there opposite the likes of Robert Mitchum, Ali MacGraw, and John Houseman.
