Jamming communications

I was just thinking recently that I can't recall any situation where the various crews have actively tried to jam comm frequencies to make life more difficult for their enemy. I can recall dozens of times where baddies like the Klingons, Romulans, etc. jammed Starfleet communications, but I don't think that dirty little trick was ever reversed by the good guys. Am I wrong?

For some reason I recall Worf being ordered to do it in an episode of TNG.

I recall situations where people were ordered to block specific communications and messages, they just didn't do it generally.

You're right...but my idea on why they don't is it would be a kind of dull way to solve that week's problem.

Picard: "Worf...jam that Romulan ships' transmissions quickly!"
Worf: "Done.....Romulan ship now heading back into Romulan space."
Picard: "I'll be in my ready room."
