Jame's Cawley's Cameo...

Sean Aaron

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Can someone point it out? I completely forgot to look for it and don't recall seeing him at all -- did he get left on the cutting room floor like Wil Wheaton in Nemesis?

I am sure someone will be able to tell the scene, I think it was when McCoy was arguing with Spock, but I am not 100% sure. Anyway it has been reported that he is standing near the turbo lift on the bridge.

It was the scene where they are formulating the plan to drop out of warp at Saturn. When Chekov rushes to Kirk, Cawley squeezes by him, and then goes and stands by the turbolift when Spock arrives on the bridge.

Wil is still visible in "Nemesis", but only in the widescreen version. He's on the far end of the wedding banquet table, from one angle he's waaaaaay to the left, and in others he's way to the right. But yeah, his lines and closeups were left on the cutting room floor.

They could hardly have detracted from the movie.

After all, it's hard to get less than zero (or should be anyway).

Ah, missed the other thread...cheers for the direction -- wait Phase II Spock got a cameo as well?

I think he is on the Kelvin bridge.

I have failed to see either of them everytime I watched the film.

Roll on the Blu Ray so I can pause as I watch.

Jeff Quinn, the first Spock actor on New Voyages/Phase II, was one of the Vulcans working on the Jellyfish in the mind-meld sequence. The newest actor to portray Spock on NV/PII, Brandon Stacey, also worked on the movie as Zachary Quinto's stand-in.

That is really cool. Maybe I should pick up the DVD after all!
