Not much I think. 006's Mother was killed by his Father who in turned killed himself.
That's something that bugs me about Skyfall. It seems to be going back to the pre-Casino Royale days a little, trying to fit in with what people expect from a Bond film which can be a bit bland and stereotypical after 50 years.
And I was sooo hoping for Spacey to play Blofeld!
I think the internet might explode if the same person were to play both Lex Luthor and Blofeld.

That is a truly horrible film, but the first five minutes are comedy genius...albeit very self induldent.
Depending on whether or not Goldeneye 007/Reloaded and 007 Legends are considered canonical, the events of seven of the non-Craig Bond films may have happened to Craig's Bond in the interim between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall.
I've never been able to find out any info on whether or not those games are considered canonical by the people producing the films, but it would definitely enrich Craig's Bond's character if they were.

I honestly don't know if I'm more excited about this or the SW trailer. This is pretty awesome.

Incredible cast and I'm loving how Andrew Scott is showing up more in films (following this year's Jimmy's Hall and Pride, both great films). It's also very refreshing to see an older actress (Monica Bellucci) as a Bond girl.
As exciting as it is to finally have SPECTRE returning to the fold, I hope there is some resolution on Quantum. I know in the minority, but I loved A Quantum of Solace and I want to learn more about their organization. Although Jesper Christensen isn't mentioned in the press release, he told a Danish magazine that he'll be returning as Mr. White (the article is in Danish, but Google Translator shows it has one quote from Christensen talking about the film). If Mr. White is returning, hopefully Quantum will be addressed.

Have to say, I'm not a big fan of the new car, but there's still time to warm up to it. It just doesn't scream Bond to me, however.

Quantum was SPECTRE under another name until they were able to get the rights to use the SPECTRE name again. It should definitely be addressed even if it's one line of dialogue because we never saw who controlled Quantum.

Tracy, yeah. Hadn't thought of that. Loving this more and more. Since Craig is signed on for this movie and one more I wonder if this will set up things for the next one.
