We so often think of "troubled" child actors nowadays, but what a successful outcome for Jackie Cooper. I was just watching him on The Rockford Files the other day, alongside the late Pernell Roberts, Simon Oakland and Paul Fix, and wondering how old he was. Treasure Island is on TCM this weekend, it is pretty striking how recognizable his looks are even as a kid.

RIP Captain Cooper.
