Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
My source who leaks me secret script information is ill in hospital with cancer.Do not be alarmed as it is not too serious and he will recover as doctors are giving him ample chemotherapy.Doctors say he has a 50% chance of living 5 years more.

But the problem is he was unable to supply us with the "Brilliant" line J.J Abrams said he could not include due to the writers strike.

I am therefore asking you to provide speculation as what this "Brilliant Line" could have been.

In order for this line to be speculated on,you must provide expression when speculating and write expressively.

i.e. You must provide context and scene information, possibly costume information and setting information so as to immerse a Trekie in the scene.

Level of voice modulation and if shouting or exclaiming.

Now I ask you to start speculating.

When's he getting out of hospital? I don't think I'll be able to live without your insider info! :guffaw:

So the problem with your source is he's "full of S#!T?"

Now I'm confused....

Is he saying it was the leaked script that caused the bowel obstruction in the first place? Just HOW was he sneaking this script off the Parmount lot? 'Cause I'm thinkin', " Now there's a script I wouldn't want to get my hands on...."

Also says something about just how much this guy's supposed "LEAK" is pulling it out his arse as well...

But if I were to guess the so-called "Brilliant line" by J.J., according to said friend's "script", I'd say it's Spock confirming which Photon Torpedo Tube to fire with:

Spock: "The logical choice is No. 2, Captain"

Kirk: "Maybe so, Mr. Spock, but that's my business."

Just remember to flush twice, once for the bulk and a second for the remainder.

Plus, they're probably drinking it in Hollywood...

Re: J.J.Abrams BRILLIANT LINE-strike omission - REVEALED HER

(Kirk and Scotty are having a drink in the bar. Kirk spills his drink on himself. Scotty picks up a cloth.)

Scotty: Do you want me to...

Kirk: Yes, please. Clean me up, Scotty.

Re: J.J.Abrams BRILLIANT LINE-strike omission - REVEALED HER

end credits then we see kirk actually still alive and unemployed. he was never a captain at all.
he is walking around san francisco like a hobo. He sees an old 'pal' of his - a scottish immigrant-turned drug dealer known only as "Scotty"
Apparently, this hobo we thought we knew is addicted to a new drug - a designer amphetamine called 'warp'
he walks up to his dealer friend and shouts:

"Scotty, I need warp speed now!"

A random ensign approaches Kirk with some secret information about what the Romulan Senate is planning to do to Earth -- you know, blow it up with a giant mushroom-planet.

He has learned of this information because his roommate at the academy was friends with a guy who's father captained a starship, which sent out a shuttle that went on a mission revealing the secret Romulan-Vulcan cabal. The information trickled back down to the ensign's contact.

Of course, the original contact is unavailable to confirm because he has been stricken with Bendii Syndrome (Romulans get it, too!). Were that not the case, he would be requesting political asylum at this moment.

In the original script, Kirk calmly, almost humourously, says, "You know, I'm not sure I believe you."

Abrams wanted the line to read...

"IT'S A FAAAAAAAAAAKE!"

Excuse me. But if I were told I had a fifty-fifty chance of living five years or more, I WOULD BE ALARMED, and I WOULD CALL THAT SERIOUS.

This is NOT in good taste.

Check please.

And, TITS! (I mean, come on.)

You are fortunate I do not still moderate this forum. My mother had breast cancer that spread to the liver. Oh, and she had chemotherapy and it was NOT "not too serious." Ample my ass. After "ample" chemotherapy she was on her deathbed for three long days.

Knock it off with these retarded threads -- now. And never post something like this again.

Thank you. And I'm sorry for your loss. My dad died of lung cancer.

J.J.Abrams BRILLIANT LINE-strike omission - REVEALED HERE.

You tell us in your title that you'll reveal something from Trek XI, but instead you tell us some sob story about your firend having cancer. Jeez, that's just low.

OK, the mods have set guidelines for good parody and bad. This is good? This passes the Cogley Test (as I'd called it for this kind of thing).
It's an anonymous BBS, and in the long run I should give a hoot. But, this is crap. Close this one for the Gipper, huh?

Tits!

Re: J.J.Abrams BRILLIANT LINE-strike omission - REVEALED HER

I take this thread is another BS story, one that's in bad taste.

What's wrong? Too many shit jokes? Had to move onto something a little more tasteless and a little less amusing?

Remember that conversation we had regarding wild claims and spam? Probably not. Your first paragraph constitutes quite the wild claim, not to mention it's in very poor taste.
Pursuant to that, and the lack of content shown here, you get a warning for spamming and this thread gets locked.
