J/7 10 years on.Will there still be sparks or will it died out?

There was no romantic "spark" between Seven of Nine and Janeway or the actresses that played those roles. Slash fiction is not reality.

Kate and Jeri did have chemistry with each other but it wasn't meant to be romantic. Though there are plenty of people who ship J/7, myself included. At the end of the day it's how each individual interprets their relationship, as with any fictional characters.

Janewaygirl- Aw finally another female with sense;).. It is a shame that the J/7 has given up on them . They all have scattered like wild fire. Where have they gone?:wtf:

Anyways, the operative word is "not meant to be". Well it blossomed into something spectator . Im not sure this can be recaptured if a movie was to be made ( which is doubtful). I mean so many actors who once had chemistry on screen and cameback years later to do a one off special lack the spark they once had as a result the show losses its flavor. The changes of the actors lives etc is a known to be a factor . I was just wondering if it will be the case for these two

Well Jeri might still be able to pull off that catsuit but Mulgrew has embraced the look of an avuncular, bloated grand mother

The interesting thing about Mulgrew-IIRC, a few years back, she was appearing in some play (not the one about Kate Hepburn) and was saying in an interview that she was on a diet to stay thin for it. Looks like she hasn't bothered to keep to being thin...:D

There could be a Voyager reunion on TV, but movies? I doubt it. Also, I wonder if the member of the cast who wasn't pleased with the show would want to come back (if not, they could always say that Chakotay died while on a mission for Starfleet.)

Beltran has started to appear in a lot of conventions - either though he swar he never will and expressed his displeasure of Voyager and his relationship with Mulgrew. It seems both money and the lack of major work has his dragging his sorry ass back on stage , so no doubt he will be open to doing to the possibility of a series

As for Mulgrews weight.. Leave her alone.. Her dramatic expansion isnt necessarily down to the ole pizza's and Jack Daniels you know . She probably has some deep seated personal demons she is fighting with and it just so happened it has taken its toll on her weight or a Thyroid issue ( which i also have )..

She has never maintained a her weight throughout her life

Would anyone notice if Beltran was replaced with an inanimate carbon rod?

Chuckles wouldn't be missed, if in fact this hypothetical movie was ever made.

I'm not sure there's a cast member I would miss if a hypothetical movie was ever made. Probably would be just as entertaining if we spent two hours looking at empty bridge chairs.

I didn't see J/7 myself. And I HATED C/7. I really hated it. It was tacked on at the end, WTF?! He went for the trophy wife...

Peach Wookiee, It doesn't appear that you have followed the series in all its entirety . You definitely will have noticed the chemistry then.. As for the C/7 thing , well the producers/ writers may have been under pressure to crab some much into a small amount of time . I thought it was a " naff" idea . Even if i saw it coming , those two together? Nah .,cant see it.. I think that decision was the downfall of Endgame.

I watched the whole series and I think we'll have to agree to disagree on J/7.
But on C/7 we are in agreement. That was just... he was having a midlife crisis.

I could live with that :)

.

I also think it was the most shitest acting i have ever seen from Ryan .. I wont even comment on Beltran's because he has been as rigid as a plank from season 1. Ryan appeared to be nervous and uncomfortable in the most intimate scenes and it lacked sensuality . It just wasn't there between the actors . When i saw it back in 2000 , i spent most of the time fast forwarding it to Janeway/Admiral and Janeway/Seven..
