The CW announced today that iZomibe's 5th season will be it's final season
Makes sense. Five seasons is pretty much the standard for a full series run these days. (Supernatural was originally going to end at 5 seasons, though it's now in, what, the 13th?) And the storyline has opened up so much from season to season -- they can't keep going bigger indefinitely. It feels right for the next season to be the big finish.
Agreed. It will be better if they know they have an endpoint rather than being cancelled prematurely.
Well, we know that Blaine is able to smuggle brains internationally. The global death rate is about 0.8% per year, and the current world population is 7.6 billion, so that's about 60 million deaths per year, or 5 million per month. So he'd only need to smuggle in 0.2% of the global supply of freshly deceased brains.
It makes sense.

Ugh, that French Fillmore Graves guy survived the season. Just an all around horrid character.
My initial reaction was to groan over having to wait so long. But on reflection, this should give me something to watch in the summer, so it's all good.
