If Yahoo is right ITV are not going to show episode 2 of pushing daisies they are going straight to ep 3 of pushing daisies because they need to cut a episode so the season ends before the football started.
Last time i looked ITV did not have many good shows to put on air why don't they just do a double bill for the last two episodes.:scream:
Best thing is most people will not be watching the football because England are not in the cup.

Yep, ITV are idiots, they're showing it in repeats, but not first run. I emailed to complain/say I was disappointed/point out it was stupid. They ignored what I said, and said that it's the fault of the WGA strike, because it messed up the schedules.

By repeats do you mean the one they show on itv3/4 in the week or do they mean if they rerun it.
I don't see why they can,t just cut one of the soaps i for one can not be doing with emmadale farm every single night and if it was not for the strike they would have to cut even more episodes.

As in at some point in the future, when they're repeat the season. They didn't even give a timeframe on when to expect it, just "Later this year".
I said in the email why wasn't it possible to show a double bill, or show it on a digital channel, they just said
Due to the US writers strike, delivery of many acquisitions has been
affected. Rather than receiving a full series of many of this year's
shows we've had a range of different options - such as 13 parts so far
for Gossip Girl and 9 parts for Pushing Daisies. This has an impact on
scheduling - particularly in the more competitive slots - as we
typically receive dramas in parts of six or eight.

Which I don't get, if they were expecting a full season, and only got 9 episodes. Surely 9 is easier to schedule when they're used to series about that length anyway?

I'd rather they didn't. I'd don't subscribe to Sky, and ITV can treat imports well, Supernatural for example. They should just put it on one of their digital channels, where they can ignore sports.
