Excellent point. The ponies are bigger, so must be handicapped otherwise it's just not fair. We could either blind the ponies, or give the chimps a rudimentary weapon of some sort...
I think the monkeys might have an edge in sheer numbers and poo-flinging abilities. They are let down by their typing skills, but then I imagine so are ponies with their clumsy hooves.
Alicorns are immortal and can move celestial bodies, Unicorns have magic and can attack from a distance, Pegasi can move supersonic and control weather, earth Ponies are physically herculian, so yeah those Monkeys better be damned good.

I've only seen a random 10 minutes or so of the show, just to try to figure out what the fuss was about. Didn't click with me, I'm afraid.
Ahh, ok. Just sayin' though, if we're going to have a war the Ponies can throw three major waves at the enemy with specific powers/abilities. Mind you, I've never seen them take on a tidal wave of shit, that only happened in Generation 3, I never saw that series
