It's Bed Time...

2 of 10

Captain
Captain
Seven of Nine has to jump into her alcove to regenerate, Odo melts into his Bucket for his downtime, Species 8472 never goes to any kind of sleep. Can you think of any other species that has weird "sleep habits"

Resistance is Futile

Let us not forget Phlox and his hibernation!

being more or less run by computer programs, you would assume the Doctor and Data don't require any rest... or do they? we see them in the holodeck and otherwise off-duty... perhaps their down time is spent backing up systems (similar to our brain during sleep and R&R)

Jem'Hadar don't sleep either--the white takes care of all their needs.

I've infected you with my Jemmie addiction!! Muhuahahaha!!! :p

I'm not sure Julian has normal sleep habits, not sure if thats from the show or the DS9-R.

Nope, you haven't infected me...I'm still FOR CARDASSIAAAAA! all the way. ;)

I just happened to beat you to it. :rommie:

Data was seen 'sleeping' after activating his 'dreaming' programme in TNG S6 or S7...

It always amused me that it never occurred to him to take off his uniform to do it.

The Doctor never slept, but he did switch himself off... and it was said Vic Fontaine slept, though they never went down the sentience route with him,

Then the infection hasn't kicked in yet, which is even more insidious...

Thief!!!! :p

Ummm, wasn't there in ST at some point beds that were circles? How'd u sleep in one of those? :cardie:

In Best of Both Worlds, Shelby made the remark that Data did not require sleep. Data also made a similar coment in 11001001.

Capt. Kirk while on trial at his competency hearing liked to catch a quick nap here and there. The Deadly Years are the drowsiest years.
