It's at least three continuities...

Well if Michael’s in a coma I called it haha!

I just hope that if the do decide to “reconcile with canon” or however they decide to describe it, then it’s smarter than the ol’ timeline reset switcharoo...

Is shrooming over to another timeline a timeline reset?

I suppose not - cos they’re just jumping timelines or something.

But I get the feeling that if they did that, the DSC crew would treat the prime crew like the new turtles treated the 1980s cartoon turtles in that big multiverse crossover “turtles forever” - basically they’re the laughing stock of the multiverse...

Tilly: woah, look how f****** funky and groovy this ship looks...
Michael: yes... it looks like it was made of wood and jelly beans...

what if Michael's post-knockout delusions are actually a dream within a dream of Sasha Williams as she slowly dies inside the coffin inside the walking dead, and what she was really listening too on that music player was some Star Trek audio books..

What if DISCO is all Stamets' hallucination while he's in the padded cell next to Benny Russell's, where he's been placed after overdosing on psychedelic mushrooms?

If someone wants to divorce TOS from the other series or believes it has been, neither opinion of which I have -- as opposed to the era just getting a visual makeover -- then I guess you could call the (at least) three universes:

    The Classic Universe
    The Prime Universe
The Kelvin Universe or The Abramsverse (whatever makes people happy).

Weighing in my two cents, for the sake of argument.

All of Trek is a tale told by storytellers in the 40th century. One told the TOS-era stories. Another told the TOS-movie stories. Another told the TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT stories. Another told the Kelvin stories. And another told the DSC stories. Each storyteller has visual aids to enhance the storytelling and, as they are different people, they have different artistic tastes and provide occasionally contradictory embellishments/changes to preceding stories. No one in the 40th century cares one whit about these inconsistencies as they are recounting the equivalent of myths. In the 45th century, someone finds these stories and, for fun, has been delivering them in a form modified for 20th/21st century visual broadcast and scattering them through the 1960s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s. They are also watching the infighting among fans and find it highly amusing.

No one can, in any way, disprove my story, so it is, of course, true.

    (Or not). :p

You know, it's good, but it's not the best. I binge watched it's second season right after binging on second season of Stranger Things and was quiet dissapointed. Stranger Things was much more superior, at least in my opinion.

Westworld is the best sf I've seen on television in decades. Bar none.

I loved Season One of WW, it raised some fascinating questions about identity and self determination.
Still not sure about Season Two

Please no Westworld spoilers. I've still yet to watch any of season two.

There are murders, confusing timelines, killer robots, killer humans, and 95% less nudity than last year. Hope that didn't spoil things too much ;)

Nice list. But as much as I love Heisenberg ... How dows Breaking Bad qualify as sci fi?
