It's a nice story
Very cool now she will have a boy and girl a good combination 
Big weekend for them--Ortolan was also awarded a Michelin star. 
So much for the restaurant simply being a cheezy publicity vehicle to trade on Jeri's history as a Star Trek star, as was claimed on the boards here.

Why are so many Trekkies here so pointlessly spiteful and apathetic towards her?
To TS10: I don't think it was Jeri, I think it was the whole "celebrity restaurant" phenomenon. Celebs invest and put their name on a place and then it's supposed to attract their fans.
Ortolan ain't that. Christophe was world-renowned already, and Jeri had spent many off-seasons studying cooking and had worked as a line chef on weekends when she was on Boston Public. They've worked really hard for this honor, and it's nice to see it rewarded.

Sorry, I didn't mean here, but elsewhere on this board and in fandom in general. But there is no use being overtly sensitive about talk forum opinion (which is highly truncated and inaccurate anyway, with very popular things being visible targets of negative opinions. Look at how many people have turned on Heroes).
I'd just like to say how much I appreciate all the kind words.
