I am pretty decent at reading people and pretty good at throwing people off. Most people (if not everyone) probably can't guess what is actually going in my head. However, I do make my dislike of people plainly know as I don't have the energy anymore to "play nice" with people I don't like. Only exception is if I have to put with that person professionally.

Ive always had a problem reading people, especially knowing when people are "joking" or not. I also have trouble with small talk. Though I should mention that I also have Asperger's and these are very common traits to have with that condition.

It can be tough to read people. For example if I'm interested in a woman I can't always tell if she's into me. If she's saying, "Fuck you, creep, get away from me!" what is she trying to say?

I can't quite "read" other people--their motives, their body language, their thoughts or feelings.

It's a skill that improves with active practice though, so keep going. Some people will be naturally good at it, but most people can learn the basics of non-verbal communication, transference, theory of mind, and other such concepts.
