EverythinG is NothinG and vice a versa, - mostly the things are black and white until we let go --- there is more to the picture --- than just one tree. I will give you "it is all good" but there are kinda degrees of miracle 000 or goodness.. and not so good --- it is meaningless to have white without black- it is that way- it is a dichotomy a polarity a opposite that is neither good nor bad.. just my point --- but I do like "it is all good" but that makes it all meaningless --- because of the lack of bad.

What do you think? half empty glass or half full glass or just happy to have a glass --- right?

I'll put this in Lolcat/Cheezburger terms: There are many people who prefer Ceiling Cat, and these are the people who make snide lolpics depicting cute little black cats as Basement Cat (I hope I don't need to explain the symbolism, since it should be obvious).

Moral Grey Area Cat lives his/her life knowing that nothing can ever be all good or all bad.

My actual cat, Maddy, is a little black cat who would be a great model for cute lolpics referring to Basement Cat. But her behavior is that of Moral Grey Area Cat, since she loves to give and receive affection, yet she'll steal the cheese sandwich off my plate the minute my back is turned.

As for the saying on the picture above... no. It's like Oprah insisting that atheists can't feel or perceive a sense of awe. We can. We just don't attribute it to anything divine. Life, like Moral Grey Area Cat, is not black or white. There are many shades of grey.

To the optimist, the glass is half full.
To the pessimist, the glass is half empty.
To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be, or to elaborate on that: To the engineer, the capacity of the container has been over-designed by a factor of approximately 1.905 assuming a 5% volume for the sloshing safety factor..:shifty::biggrin:

If you are depressed, you are living in the past.
If you anxious, you are living in the future.
If you are at peace, you are living in the present.
~ Lao Tse

In the past the glass was empty
In the future it will overflow
Now.. It just doesn't matter, we drink what we have.

Trying to make the most of it, so mostly full, but seems to have an issue with the filtration, so there's lots of stuff floating on the surface. That's what feels like right now, with going into the lockdown for the 3rd month now. We started back in February and are still in it.

A Trumpist would say the glass is completely full and suggesting otherwise is America hating commie propaganda.
A true Trumpist would insist the server follow a very strict routine in which the server would ask if he wanted ice or not, the glass would be presented and the diet Coke bottle would be held by the bottom third, opened in his presence, poured and placed on his right-hand side.

My wife, who knows me quite well I'd say, bought me one of these a few Christmases ago:

However one day it broke and I planned to replace it but then decided that it would be pointless and it really didn't matter anyway.
